According to reports, Elon Musk's SpaceX plans to launch a new Starlink mobile service for American consumers. Gwynne Shotwell, President and Chief Operating Officer of SpaceX, stated that the company is considering "launching Starlink retail products" and may build its own ground mobile network in the United States. Implementing these plans will require the management of the global satellite communication system to sell mobile contracts to individual customers in order to develop new retail products, which will allow SpaceX to compete with major US carriers Verizon Wireless, AT&T, and T-Mobile.
