According to the information from the Shenzhen Securities News APP, statistics from the Ministry of Commerce and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange show that from January to May 2026, China's total industry's outbound direct investment reached 506.95 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3% (equivalent to 73.36 billion US dollars, an increase of 7.1%). Among them, Chinese investors have made non-financial direct investments in 6,081 overseas companies in 142 countries and regions worldwide, with a total investment of 381.46 billion yuan, a decrease of 13.8% (equivalent to 55.2 billion US dollars, a decrease of 10.4%).
