According to statistics from the Ministry of Commerce and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, from January to May 2026, China's total outbound direct investment reached 506.95 billion yuan, an increase of 3% compared to the same period last year. Among them, Chinese domestic investors made non-financial direct investments in 6081 overseas enterprises from 142 countries and regions, with a total investment of 381.46 billion yuan, a decrease of 13.8%.
