On Thursday, New York spot gold rose by 0.64% to $4024.97 per ounce. COMEX gold futures increased by 0.78% to $4040.10 per ounce. Spot silver also rose by 0.73% to $57.8327 per ounce, while COMEX silver futures fell by 0.38% to $58.290 per ounce. COMEX copper futures rose by 2.03% to $6.1335 per pound. Spot platinum rose by 1.08% and spot palladium rose by 1.43%.
