The Ministry of Transport, the National Railway Administration, the Civil Aviation Administration of China, the State Post Bureau, and China National Railway Group Co., Ltd. issued the "Innovative Action Plan for Typical Application Scenarios of 'Artificial Intelligence + Transportation'". It proposes to encourage the development of large models in the civil aviation field, focusing on core tasks such as route planning, flight safety, flight scheduling, dispatch decision-making, and crew scheduling. It also encourages the application of key technologies such as operational prediction, scheduling optimization, and risk prevention and control, in order to create a variety of three-dimensional application scenarios such as personalized travel services, apron situation awareness and risk warning, and unmanned smart freight stations, and accelerate the digital transformation and upgrading of civil aviation. It also proposes to deepen the integrated application of multimodal biometric recognition and intelligent security technology in check-in, customs clearance, boarding, etc., constructing passenger recognition systems in security channels, baggage matching systems, service guidance terminals, etc., to improve the passenger travel experience. While ensuring safety, it explores the application of vertical take-off and landing aircraft and drones in short-distance transportation, aerial tours, and other scenarios to enhance low-altitude transport service capabilities.
