Supreme People's Procuratorate: Dig deep into drug-related money laundering crimes.

At a press conference held by the Supreme People's Procuratorate on June 25th, Deputy Chief Prosecutor Miao Shengming introduced that the procuratorial organs are deeply investigating "self-money laundering" and "other-money laundering" crimes, vigorously promoting the recovery of drug-related assets, and ensuring the full coverage of drug-related money laundering crime investigations. From January 2025 to May 2026, procuratorial organs nationwide have prosecuted more than 1200 people involved in drug-related money laundering crimes. For example, the Li Moubo case, a major cross-border drug smuggling, trafficking, transportation, and money laundering case handled by the Chongqing Procuratorate under the supervision of the Supreme People's Procuratorate. Li Moubo laundered over 48 million yuan through virtual currency and was sentenced to death for multiple crimes in accordance with the law.
