On June 24, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Feng Fei, met with the President and CEO of Siemens Energy Co., Christian Bruch, who came to attend the appointment ceremony and the first consultation activity of the International Advisory Committee for the Hainan Free Trade Port. Feng Fei welcomed Christian Bruch and his team, stating that Siemens Energy is a global leader in energy technology and has been actively involved in Hainan for thirty years. He mentioned that on December 18, 2025, the day when the Hainan Free Trade Port was fully closed for operation, Siemens Energy started the construction of its first gas turbine assembly base and service center in Yancheng Economic Development Zone, which was the first manufacturing project with foreign investment landing in Hainan after the full operation of the Hainan Free Trade Port. This demonstrated Siemens Energy's long-term attention and firm confidence in investing in Hainan. Hainan is willing to cooperate with Siemens Energy to focus on building a green intelligent industrial cluster, creating more exemplary Sino-European and Sino-German cooperation projects in the field of green energy development and related industry ecology construction such as gas turbine manufacturing and operation services, and promoting cooperation in deeper and wider areas to achieve mutual benefits and win-win results.
