Four South Korean ships sailed away from the Strait of Hormuz again.
After 2 South Korean ships sailed out of the Strait of Hormuz following the US-Iran ceasefire, another 4 South Korean ships are now leaving. The South Korean Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries stated on the 24th that the 4 South Korean ships that were stranded in the Strait of Hormuz have safely left and are sailing normally. There are a total of 26 South Korean crew members on board, with one ship heading to South Korea as its final destination. Unlike the first 2 South Korean ships that left after the ceasefire agreement between the US and Iran, the aforementioned 4 ships have received approval from Iran's Persian Gulf Maritime Authority. Among them, 2 are the HMM container ship "Daon" with a capacity of 16,000 TEU and the VLCC "Global Glory" with a load of 2 million barrels of crude oil, expected to arrive at the port of Yeosu in the middle of next month.
