In May, the national lottery sales totaled 52.863 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 4.172 billion yuan, a 7.3% decrease. This was mainly due to the reduction of football events related to the World Cup and the impact of the decrease in instant lottery sales. Among them, welfare lottery sales were 16.971 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 1.557 billion yuan, a decrease of 8.4%; sports lottery sales were 35.892 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 2.615 billion yuan, a decrease of 6.8%.
