Qatari Prime Minister Al-Sani accepted an interview with the Financial Times and stated that Qatar's liquefied natural gas production is expected to return to normal in "several weeks." He said that Qatar Petroleum is preparing to resume normal operations, except for damaged facilities. Only after Qatar Petroleum "believes that all issues have been resolved and can operate safely," will force majeure be lifted. He also stated that establishing a hotline between the United States and Iran is crucial to prevent uncontrolled actions from hindering the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
