The coal sector continued to decline during trading hours, with many energy stocks hitting the limit down. Zhengzhou Coal Power was close to hitting the limit down, while Liaoning Energy, Ping Coal Co., Hengyuan Coal Power, Shanghai Energy, and Shanxi Coking Coal all fell more than 4%.
