Chairman of China Mobile, Chen Zhongyue: The next decade needs to be cautious but not afraid.

At the opening ceremony of MWC Shanghai in 2026, Chairman of China Mobile, Chen Zhongyue, mentioned in his keynote speech that operators should "worry but not fear" the next decade. He pointed out that in the past, mobile communication was about who had the network and who had the customers; in the era of mobile internet, the essence is to efficiently flow content, with services expanding to people and platforms, and the competition is about whose data runs faster; and in the era of mobile intelligence, it is not just about managing data flow, but also about the flow of intelligence to solve problems.
