Three departments organized and implemented the 2026 first major technology equipment insurance compensation policy.

The General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the General Office of the Ministry of Finance, and the General Office of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission have issued a notice on organizing and implementing the insurance compensation policy for the first major technological equipment in 2026. The support scope includes: the support scope of the insurance compensation policy for the first major technological equipment in 2026 covers all areas specified in the "Guidelines for the Promotion and Application of the First Major Technological Equipment". In principle, the entire equipment should be supported by the number of units; core systems, key components, key supporting equipment, and basic components of major technological equipment should be supported by the number of batches in principle. For example, single equipment such as high-end industrial mainframes, electronic equipment, new agricultural machinery equipment, precision instruments and meters with low unit equipment value can be supported by batch numbers; and single high-value core systems, key components, etc. such as aircraft engines, ship engines can be supported by unit numbers.
