According to the Civil Aviation Administration of China, on June 22, the director of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, Song Zhiyong, held a discussion with the management personnel of the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department and the Hong Kong civil aviation industry on the topic of high-quality development of Chinese civil aviation. During the discussion, Song Zhiyong introduced the achievements of high-quality development of Chinese civil aviation since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, as well as the ideas and initiatives for accelerating the construction of a strong aviation country in the new era with high quality and efficiency. He also engaged in in-depth discussions with the participants on topics such as developing international air transport and hub construction, promoting the integrated development of the aviation industry in the Greater Bay Area, enhancing China's participation in international competition and cooperation in civil aviation, the development of domestically-produced large aircraft, and the application of artificial intelligence in civil aviation, all of which were of concern to the participants of the study class.
