Qatar has called back an empty LNG transport ship passing through the Strait of Hormuz.

Ship tracking data shows that the vessel Milaha Qatar, belonging to the state-owned shipping company of Qatar, appeared in the Persian Gulf north of the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday, indicating that the liquefied natural gas tanker recently crossed the Strait of Hormuz. Ship data shows that the tanker was previously found in waters near eastern Oman on June 21, after which it stopped sending signals. The vessel has now emitted a signal, indicating that its next destination is the Ras Laffan liquefied natural gas export facility in Qatar.
