At the fourth China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo held today, Gree Electric Appliances released the AIDC Data Center All-Scene Liquid Cooling Solution, with the core new product "Ice Cube" magnetic levitation integrated CDU synchronously unveiled. With 100% self-controlled technology system and multiple advantages of extreme energy efficiency, precise temperature control, and high-reliability operation, a new solution for the green upgrade of data centers in the AI computing power era is brought. In communication with Sina Technology, Zhu Lei frankly stated: "The end of computing power is electricity, and the boundary of computing power is refrigeration." Currently, with the sharp increase in AI chip heat generation, traditional air cooling can no longer adapt to high-density computing power requirements. The cooling system is no longer just a supporting device, but a key determinant of chip performance limits. Zhu Lei's analysis points out that AI chips have an optimal operating range of 45-60C. When in this temperature range, the chip's computing power can be fully released. Even if chip manufacturers can withstand high temperatures up to 110C, computing power will significantly decline in high-temperature environments, similar to a high-performance car idling at low speeds for an extended period, which severely wastes hardware value.
