Typhoon "Mikra" has strengthened to a strong typhoon level, with gusts in some parts of China reaching level 10 to 11.

This morning, the center of the 7th typhoon of the year, "Mikra", strengthened from typhoon level to strong typhoon level. At 8 o'clock in the morning, its center was located on the northwest Pacific Ocean about 890 kilometers east-southeast of Cape Egmont, Taiwan, at a point with coordinates 17.4 degrees north latitude and 127.9 degrees east longitude. The maximum wind force near the center is at level 15, and the minimum central air pressure is 945 hPa. The radius of the 7-level wind circle is 200 to 350 kilometers, the radius of the 10-level wind circle is 80 to 90 kilometers, and the radius of the 12-level wind circle is 40 kilometers. It is expected that "Mikra" will move in a west-north direction at a speed of 15 to 20 kilometers per hour, gradually increasing in intensity and moving closer to the southeastern waters of Taiwan. Due to its impact, from the night of the 23rd to the 27th, the Bashi Strait, waters east of Taiwan, and the southern part of the East China Sea will experience winds of 7 to 9 levels, with gusts reaching levels 10 to 11; in some areas, wind force may reach levels 10 to 11, with gusts up to levels 12 to 13.
