During this year's Dragon Boat Festival, the duty-free consumption market in Hainan's outlying islands continued to heat up. According to statistics from Haikou Customs, during the three-day holiday, the customs supervised a total of 202 million yuan in duty-free shopping, with 34,700 people shopping and a total of 159,000 items purchased. Compared to the same period last year, there was a steady increase of 8.6%, 11.2%, and 1.9% respectively. During the holiday, customers traveling in family or with friends became the main shoppers, with high-end skincare products, smart digital products, and other categories being particularly popular.
