Shanghai Securities Industry Association: By the end of 2025, the number of securities industry professionals in Shanghai will be 70,857.

On June 22, the Shanghai Securities Interdealer Association released the 2025 annual report on human resources in the Shanghai securities industry. The data shows that by the end of 2025, there were 70,857 employees in the securities industry in Shanghai, a decrease of 1.49%; among them, there were 55,522 employees in securities companies, a decrease of 5.45%, with 19,005 employees in head offices of legal entities, 6,662 employees in branch offices, 13,147 employees in sales offices, and 16,708 employees in Shanghai-based teams.
