Japanese and Korean stock markets open low and trend higher.

The stock markets in Japan and South Korea opened low and trended higher. The Nikkei 225 index is now up by more than about 1%, surpassing the 72,000-point mark for the first time to reach a new all-time high. The South Korean composite index is currently up by 0.2%, after previously falling by over 1%.
