Guangdong: Building Guangzhou and Shenzhen into international exhibition cities with high standards.

The People's Government of Guangdong Province issued a notice on the implementation plan for promoting the expansion and improvement of the service industry in Guangdong Province, which mentioned the high-standard construction of Guangzhou and Shenzhen as international convention and exhibition cities. It aims to expand and strengthen the brand exhibitions, continuously enhance the global influence of Canton Fair, High-Tech Fair, Cultural Fair, and China Air Show, promote the establishment of national industry benchmarks in professional fields such as furniture, ceramics, and clothing exhibitions, and cultivate new emerging field exhibitions in artificial intelligence, robotics, and low-altitude economy. Efforts will be made to nurture and expand the scale of exhibition enterprises, vigorously attract international renowned exhibition enterprises, domestic and foreign professional group exhibition institutions, exhibition building and event planning companies, and support exhibition enterprises in holding exhibitions overseas. Intensive efforts will be made to attract high-end conferences, academic forums, and annual headquarters meetings of domestic and foreign industries, nurture auxiliary service providers such as event planning, business reception, graphic visual note-taking, simultaneous interpretation, and smart audio-visual services, and enhance the scale and strength of the conference service industry.
