The People's Government of Guangdong Province has issued a notice on the implementation plan for promoting the expansion and improvement of the service industry in Guangdong Province. It mentions leveraging the advantages of leading network freight platforms to support national and global road transport enterprises in operating in Guangdong, promoting traditional road freight enterprises to extend their services to value-added services such as warehousing management, distribution processing, order management, and supply chain services, and developing efficient and intensive transport business such as network freight. It also supports eligible cities to build international shipping hubs, strengthen the shipping headquarters economy, and focus on developing high-value-added formats such as ship registration, shipping finance, and maritime services, fully leveraging the efficiency of the Pearl River waterway system to create leading inland port and shipping enterprises, optimize and enhance the utilization efficiency and resource capability along the coastal line. Strengthen cooperation with globally renowned aviation, shipping, and logistics companies, actively expand international flight networks, support large logistics companies in building pre-positioned cargo stations, researching overseas warehouses, and promote the improvement of comprehensive transportation and distribution systems at hub airports. Cultivate and develop general aviation transport services, actively develop low-altitude logistics, strengthen the coordination of low-altitude flight activities, accelerate the formation of a low-altitude cross-border logistics network connecting Hong Kong and Macao. Support railway transport enterprises in deepening cooperation with social logistics enterprises, strengthening the development of high-speed rail freight with policy support, launching white goods trains, and expanding the white goods transportation market. Actively explore cross-city cooperative transport and autonomous transport scenarios. Improve the pipeline transport network, and promote substantive connectivity between the inner-ring pipeline network in the Pearl River Delta and the provincial pipeline network.
