reporters learned from Huairou District that on June 19, the Huairou District Water Bureau and the District Meteorological Bureau jointly upgraded and issued an orange alert for mountain flood risks: according to the latest meteorological forecast and city mountain flood monitoring and early warning, some areas of Huairou District will experience heavy rainfall of over 100 millimeters in the next 6 hours. Given the high saturation of soil in the mountainous areas of Huairou District, the risk of mountain flood disasters is high. Therefore, Yanqi Town, Huaibei Town, Tanghekou Town, and Labagoumen Township have been upgraded to an orange alert for mountain flood risks, while other mountainous townships have been upgraded to a yellow alert for mountain flood risks. The public is advised to stay away from mountain flood channels, suspend outdoor activities in mountainous and water areas, closely monitor changes in the water levels of mountain channels, and take precautions against mountain flood disasters.
