Technology investor Prosus: Revenue growth achieved driven by growth in various businesses and Tencent.
Prosus, the largest shareholder of Tencent Holdings, announced that its revenue for the fiscal year 2026 has increased thanks to growth in its various businesses and investments in the Chinese tech giant Tencent. The technology investor, listed in Amsterdam, stated on Friday that its revenue for the fiscal year ending on March 31 exceeded $7.3 billion, with its Ecosystem business achieving adjusted EBITDA of $1.1 billion excluding interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization. Prosus had recorded revenue of $6.2 billion in the 2025 fiscal year. In terms of continuing operations, one of the company's preferred indicators, "Core headline earnings," is expected to grow by 19% to 28%. Prosus additionally stated that overall revenue is expected to increase by 6.7% to 15.7%. The company mentioned that these indicators reflect strong revenue growth and profitability across its businesses. Meanwhile, earnings per ordinary share are projected to decrease by 2.6% to increase by 6.4%. This partly reflects the decrease in earnings from the sale of Tencent shares held by the group during the period, as well as an increase in unrealized exchange losses.
