Zhejiang's first "parent-child" substation project is put into operation.

On the 19th, the Jiaxing Xiubei 500 kV substation in Xiuzhou District, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province was put into operation, marking the official operation of Zhejiang's first "500 kV + 220 kV" intensive construction "mother-son" substation project composed of the Xiubei 500 kV substation and the neighboring Jiachang 220 kV substation. After the operation of this project, it will further optimize the main grid layout of the Jiaxing power grid, enhance the Jiaxing power grid's ability to accept and absorb clean energy from the Zhejiang ultra-high voltage AC grid project, improve the regional power supply capability and the level of safe and stable operation of the power grid. It is expected to transmit more than 4.2 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity every year, providing support for the Jiaxing power grid to cope with a peak load of over 13 million kilowatts, and providing solid energy security for the development of local digital economy, high-end manufacturing, scientific innovation industry, and integration development of the Yangtze River Delta.
