On June 18, the State Post Bureau held a meeting of the directors to review the "Summary of Work on Postal Industry Better Serving Regional Coordinated Development" and other documents. The meeting emphasized that the entire system and industry should enhance their sense of responsibility and urgency, and prioritize regional coordinated development as a long-term strategic task. It is important to improve political positions, closely align with the national strategy for regional coordinated development, identify the role within the bigger picture, focus on addressing issues of regional imbalance and inadequacy, integrate the industry into the construction of a unified national market, and better serve the acceleration of building a new development pattern. The focus should be on key regions, aligning with the central deployment requirements for the development of regions such as the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Yangtze River Economic Belt, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone, and ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin, as well as the development requirements of the western, northeastern, central, and eastern regions. It is necessary to accelerate the transformation and upgrading of postal and express delivery hub nodes according to local conditions, continue to strengthen the network resilience in the central and western regions and rural areas, reduce the urban-rural service gap, promote industrial synergy, and network sharing. The focus should be on problem-oriented approaches, striving to achieve more significant results in establishing coordination mechanisms, addressing infrastructure deficiencies in central and western regions, and promoting the development of comprehensive logistics integrators.
