Report: Sweden Opposes Tesla's FSD Technology Due to Concerns About Speeding

A regulatory letter dated April 30th suggests that the Swedish Transport Administration is advising to vote against the promotion of Tesla's supervised autonomous driving software in Europe unless the company disables its function that allows vehicles to exceed the legal speed limit. The letter has been sent to the EU Motor Vehicle Technical Committee, which is scheduled to meet again on June 30th to discuss the matter. Tesla did not respond to requests for comment; a spokesperson for the Swedish Transport Administration said that their position has not changed since the letter was issued in April.
