Recently, the National Bureau of Statistics organized a series of symposiums, together with relevant departments, local governments, industry associations, research institutions, investment institutions, and enterprises, to jointly assess the development situation of the digital economy in the first half of the year, analyze the opportunities and challenges faced, and study how to do the next steps. It is unanimously believed that in the first half of the year, formats such as word element pricing and utility payment have emerged, digital consumption has developed rapidly, digital trade has maintained growth momentum, investment in the digital economy sector is active, fully demonstrating the strong resilience and potential of China's digital economy, injecting new momentum into the stable development of the national economy. Next, the National Bureau of Statistics will work together with relevant parties to continuously improve the "531" system of reforming the market-oriented allocation of data elements, expand the value path of data elements, accelerate the construction of a digital economy with data as a key element, closely follow the deployment of the 15th Five-Year Plan, closely monitor the development of the digital economy, plan ahead with policy reserves, promote the deep integration of the real economy and the digital economy, and continuously strengthen, optimize, and expand China's digital economy.
