Former deputy director of the Tibet Branch of the Bank of China, Xie Erjing, is under inspection and investigation.

The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the National Supervisory Commission website reported on June 18 that, according to the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the National Supervisory Commission stationed in the Bank of China and the Discipline Inspection and Supervision team of the Tibet Autonomous Region Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, Xie Erjing, former party committee member and deputy head of the Bank of China Tibet Branch, is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law. He is currently undergoing disciplinary review by the Discipline Inspection and Supervision team of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the National Supervisory Commission stationed in the Bank of China and investigation by the Supervisory Commission of the Tibet Autonomous Region.
