Through the assessment, it is predicted that there will be two rounds of heavy rainfall in the next ten days in China. As a result of the rainfall, the mainstream of the Yangtze River in the middle and lower reaches, the Dongting Lake system in the Xiangjiang River, the Poyang Lake system in the Ganjiang River, and the mainstream and tributaries of the Huai River in the upper and middle reaches will experience rising water levels. The Ministry of Water Resources has deployed measures to prevent floods in small and medium-sized rivers.
