The Dafeng Gorge Water Conservancy Hub Project has officially passed the completion acceptance.

Today, the Datengxia Water Control Project officially passed the completion acceptance presided over by the Ministry of Water Resources, marking the completion of the project construction tasks and the full transition to the normal operation phase. The Datengxia Water Control Project is an important node project in the national water network, as well as a key project to implement the national river strategy and promote river protection and governance. It integrates comprehensive benefits such as flood control, navigation, power generation, saltwater intrusion prevention, and irrigation. The total investment in the project is 35.736 billion yuan, with a total construction period of 9 years. The total storage capacity is 34.79 billion cubic meters, with a flood control capacity of 15 billion cubic meters, and a normal water level of 61 meters. It plays an important role in improving the water security level of the basin, serving the national strategy of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and promoting high-quality economic and social development in the region.
