National Network Security Bulletin Center: Preventing malicious application attacks impersonating public security agencies.
The National Network Security Report Center issued a document stating that recent monitoring has found a malicious app disguised as a service provided by the Chinese public security agency called "Public Security One Network Handling" spreading on the internet. The download address is 110GongAn.com and the IP address is 207.56.30.188. The app's installation package contains a Trojan horse program, which uses social engineering methods to induce users to download and carry out malicious behaviors such as stealing payment information and remote control. Once a user downloads and installs this app through a mobile device, attackers can control the user's terminal device, obtain corresponding access permissions, and carry out attacks such as stealing secrets. In order to protect personal information and property security, it is recommended that users do the following security precautions: 1. Identify legitimate download channels. 2. Strictly verify the authenticity of the application. 3. Be cautious about granting phone permissions. 4. Respond promptly to abnormal situations.
