UFC returns to Shanghai in August.

The world's premier mixed martial arts organization, UFC, will return to Shanghai in August 2026, marking the second consecutive year of UFC events in Shanghai. The event will take place at the Oriental Sports Center of Pudong Development Bank, marking the UFC's first return to Pudong New Area since tickets sold out for the Shanghai event in 2017. The road to UFC elite season 5 semifinals will kick off on August 28, with the winner advancing to the finals and competing for an official UFC contract. UFC Fight Night Shanghai will officially begin on August 29. The event is co-hosted by the Shanghai Sports Bureau and the Pudong New District People's Government, with China Mobile's Migu co-organizing the event and Alibaba's Orange Lion Sports responsible for event execution. Migu is also the exclusive all-media partner of UFC in China, providing viewers with live event coverage, programs, and original content.
