Recently, the "Implementation Plan for the Construction of a New Energy Computing Power Hub in Chongqing" was issued. It mentions the establishment of a cross-domain shared computing power system. The plan includes in-depth implementation of the "Bring Computing Power to Chongqing" project, improving the cooperation mechanism for computing power between Chongqing and the rest of China, supporting computing power enterprises to participate in the construction of Chongqing's computing power base in a market-oriented manner, building a large-scale intelligent computing cluster with tens of thousands of cards, and creating a high-performance, low-cost "element factory." It also aims to strengthen cross-domain computing power resource linkage, support the interconnection of Western computing power scheduling platform with domestic computing power scheduling platforms, accelerate the formation of a cross-domain shared computing power supply system, and enhance the quality of Chongqing's data center cluster. The plan aims to significantly increase the utilization rate of general computing power resources, accelerate the achievement of a balance between supply and demand for intelligent computing resources, and promote the convenient and easy use of supercomputing resources. It also seeks to improve the multi-level development pattern of data centers, support the construction of green computing power facilities in Yudongnan and Yudongbei counties with abundant green electricity resources and suitable temperatures, based on local conditions.
