Faw Jiefang collaborates with Zhongke Haina to explore a new solution for pure electric sodium-ion heavy trucks.

Recently, FAW Jiefang successfully completed the systematic testing of sodium-ion batteries for heavy-duty trucks in collaboration with Zhongke Haina, marking a key breakthrough in the application of sodium-ion battery technology in the heavy-duty commercial vehicle sector. This provides a new solution for the new energy heavy-duty truck industry to solve issues such as low-temperature battery decay and slow energy replenishment. The test vehicle used was the Jiefang J6P new energy pure electric tractor, equipped with a 339kWh large-capacity sodium-ion battery. The testing period lasted nearly 7 months, with a total road test mileage exceeding 15,000 kilometers.
