Iran's Speaker of the Parliament Kalibaf said there are no restrictions on US investment in Iran.

Iran's chief negotiator Kalibaf stated in a TV interview that since the Islamic Revolution, Iran has never prohibited American companies from investing in its economic infrastructure, oil, gas, or mining sectors. "The Americans have sanctioned their own companies, preventing them from operating in Iran, while also stopping other companies from entering the Iranian market," Kalibaf said. He claimed that Iran has obtained a $300 billion investment clause in the agreement with the United States, "part of which will be used to compensate for our losses and rebuild."
