Federal Reserve Chairman Powell said at a press conference that no one at the Fed is hoping for a rate hike in the short term. In response to a question suggesting that current data would support a rate hike, Powell said, "The judgment you express is not shared by any of the 19 participants present. We will revisit this issue in six weeks at our next meeting."
