Yang Sanke, former party secretary and director of the Department of Ecology and Environment of Guizhou Province, has been expelled from the party and removed from his post.
According to a report from the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision on the 17th, with the approval of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee, the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision has initiated a case investigation into the serious violations of discipline and law by Yang Sanke, former party secretary and director of the Guizhou Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment. Yang Sanke seriously violated the Party's political discipline, organizational discipline, and integrity discipline, constituted a serious duty violation and alleged bribery crime. Furthermore, he did not restrain himself or stop after the 18th National Congress of the Party, with a serious nature and severe impact, thus requiring serious treatment. In accordance with relevant regulations such as the "Disciplinary Regulations of the Communist Party of China", the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China", and the "Administrative Sanctions Law for Public Officials of the People's Republic of China", after discussion at a meeting of the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection, with the approval of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee, it was decided to expel Yang Sanke from the Party, revoke his public office, confiscate his ill-gotten gains from violations of discipline and law, and transfer him to the procuratorial organs for investigation and prosecution of suspected criminal offenses, with all relevant assets also being transferred.
