This is the first phase of expanding the packaging substrate business department. The company is also in talks with customers for the second phase of investments to increase FCBGA capacity for AI servers. "Substantial progress has been made in the discussions, and we will soon be able to announce the scale." In addition, LG Innotek also plans to further expand production at its factory in Gumi, Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea. In addition to the previously announced investment of 600 billion Korean won, the company plans to continue to expand FCBGA production scale according to the volume agreed upon with customers.
