Deloitte: Hong Kong's IPO fundraising reached HKD 203.3 billion in the first half of the year, ranking second globally.
Wise Finance APP learned that Deloitte has released a mid-term review and outlook report on the new stock markets in mainland China and Hong Kong in 2026. In the first half of this year, Hong Kong will have 78 new stocks raising a total of HK$ 203.3 billion, an increase of 86% in the number of new stocks and nearly 90% in the amount of financing compared to the first half of 2025, when 42 new stocks raised HK$ 107.1 billion. Among them, the financing amounts of 5 super large new stocks and 12 large new stocks accounted for over 60% of the total financing raised in the first half of the Hong Kong new stock market, including a super large offering by a mainland PCB manufacturer, which ranked fourth among the top ten new stocks globally. Lv Zhihong, Managing Partner of Deloitte's Capital Market Services Department in South China, said that Hong Kong continued to rank second in global financing in the first half of 2026.
