Germany plans to invest 16 billion euros in drone defense.
German Defense Minister Pistorius said on the 16th that Germany plans to invest approximately 16 billion euros to enhance the unmanned aerial vehicle defense capabilities of the Federal Armed Forces, and to accelerate the establishment of a rapid response force to counter unmanned aerial vehicle attacks within the various branches of the military. Pistorius said during a visit to an Air Force base in northern Germany on the 16th that Germany will launch an unmanned aerial vehicle operation plan "in the next few days" and is expected to invest approximately 16 billion euros by 2030.
