On June 17th, BOE Technology's stock price surged to the daily limit, rising by 10% to 6.71 yuan per share. On the news front, BOE Technology's 8.6 generation OLED panel production line in Chengdu started mass production on the same day. The products are mainly used for medium-sized high-value-added OLED screens for automotive and IT purposes, narrowing the gap with South Korean companies such as Samsung in the field of OLED panels. BOE Technology announced on the same day that its industry's 8.6 generation OLED production line will gradually start mass production by 2026. As a result, the penetration rate of OLED in the automotive and IT fields is expected to increase.
