According to Wei Xiaojun, executive deputy director of the National Narcotics Control Office and director of the Narcotics Control Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, the "cutting off the source and blocking the flow" operation coordinates two frontlines domestically and internationally, and two battlefields online and offline. By 2025, a total of 27,000 drug-related criminal cases were cracked, with 41,000 criminal suspects arrested and 33.5 tons of drugs seized. The "cleansing the border" operation has been deepened, tightening the drug inspection system on land, sea, air and mail to effectively curb drug smuggling into the country, seizing 18.7 tons of drugs from the "Golden Triangle" region. The "ice-breaking and drug eradication" operation has been deepened, with 134 domestic drug manufacturing cases cracked and 5.3 tons of drugs seized, effectively curbing large-scale drug manufacturing activities.
