According to the China Earthquake Networks Center, a 6.3-magnitude earthquake occurred in the Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province at 17:06 on June 16, with a depth of 10 kilometers. In order to effectively prevent aftershocks and secondary disasters after the earthquake, five centralized resettlement points have been set up in the area to properly resettle about 3,000 affected people. Priority is given to resettling and transferring 1,286 students and teachers from primary and secondary schools and kindergartens. Adequate water and convenient food supplies are ensured, and affected people are being evacuated in an orderly manner through means such as staying with relatives or friends and relocation to other areas.
