According to the Fujian Daily, on June 16th, the Secretary of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee, Zhou Zuyi, presided over a meeting of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee. The meeting reviewed the "15th Five-Year Plan" and the construction plan for "Maritime Fujian", emphasizing the need to strengthen planning guidance, actively integrate into the overall layout of national marine development, focus on coordinating land and sea, linking bays, and promoting comprehensive synergy, adhere to innovation-driven development, strengthen industrial support, protect ecological bottom lines, expand development space, accelerate the construction of Fuzhou and Xiamen as national demonstration zones for marine economic development, and promote high-quality development of the marine economy. Party committees and governments at all levels in the province should prioritize the construction of "Maritime Fujian", strengthen overall coordination, gather strong synergy, and implement key tasks with a spirit of perseverance to improve the quality and efficiency of "Maritime Fujian" construction and take it to the next level.
