Overseas investors return to the Chinese bond market.

Data from the Shanghai Headquarters of the Central Bank shows that as of the end of May, overseas institutions held 3.21 trillion yuan in bonds in the interbank market, an increase of 0.09 trillion yuan compared to the previous month, marking the first increase since the end of April 2025. Data from the State Administration of Foreign Exchange shows that foreign investment overall net purchased domestic stocks and bonds in May.
