On the 16th local time, Equatorial Guinea Vice President Teodoro Obiang Mang announced that the government has officially resigned due to failure to achieve established policy goals. Mang stated in the announcement that the resignation is aimed at paving the way for the formation of a new government team to improve administrative efficiency and accelerate the implementation of the national development plan.
