Samsung's MPW service will expand to 2nm by 2027.

Samsung Foundry's executive director, Song Taizheng, stated that the company's MPW service is expected to expand to the 2nm process node by 2027. MPW allows for the manufacturing of multiple chip designs from different companies on a single wafer, helping fabless companies reduce prototype production costs and validate readiness for large-scale production.
