The EU launches anti-dumping investigation on bolted and boltless steel shelves imported from China.

Recently, the European Commission announced that in response to an application submitted by the European Metal Shelving Manufacturers Protection Committee on April 27, 2026, they will initiate an anti-dumping investigation on bolted and boltless steel shelves originating from China. The specific products include bolted and boltless steel shelving units and their components, which consist of steel uprights with two flat connecting faces and steel beams without welded connectors. The shelving units may include any of the mentioned components, with or without shelves. The EU CN codes for the products under investigation are ex 9403 20 80 and ex 9403 99 10. The dumping investigation period is from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026, and the injury investigation period is from January 1, 2022, to the end of the dumping investigation period.
