According to the latest storage industry research from TrendForce, due to the continuous trend of major memory manufacturers towards high value-added products such as HBM and high-density 3D NAND, there has been a squeeze on mature process capacity dependent on NOR Flash and SLC NAND. However, stable demand has already driven the cumulative contract prices of NOR Flash and SLC NAND to increase by over 100% in the first half of 2026. Since suppliers do not have large-scale expansion plans, it is estimated that prices of these two products will continue to rise in the second half of the year due to tight supply and demand.
